Annette Provenzo

Annette Provenzo is a lifelong artist and has been exploring various mediums since childhood, but her love for clay—first sparked in a high school art class—kindled into a passion years later when she took Ceramics 101 while pursuing her Associate of Fine Art degree. She designed a cat mug, started doing art fairs, and thus began her life’s work.
 
Provenzo believes it’s best to listen when the muses deign to speak, so her work features a range of motifs and subject matter, exploring new directions as they present themselves. Regardless, she finds herself most frequently returning to the human figure. Pieces that don’t represent some aspect of the human are few and far between in her oeuvre.
