Founded in 2012, HAHA x Paradigm is a joint initiative with HAHA magazine that aims to to bring artists, creatives and brands together to create valuable art experiences. These public art projects stem from the belief that the most valuable art ignites a reaction within both individuals and the broader community. Combining HAHA’s global focus and Paradigm’s local network, the program brings artists from around the world to Philadelphia to engage in an ongoing dialogue about the benefits of public art in the modern city.

Beautiful Times

BEAUTIFUL TIMES

Artists Amanda Marie and X-O  road tripped around the US leaving behind beautiful art installations at every tour leg to raise awareness about the world we live in, the protection of our children, and wild flowers.  The tour supported the Lady Bird Johnson and The Morgan Adams Foundation.

Guardians

THE GUARDIANS BY VLADIMIR ANTAKI

For Vlad's residency, we installed life-sized photographs of past Guardians —those individuals who bear and safeguard tradition, know-how, and memory of entire cities through their businesses — in vacant storefronts along South Street. After the installs were complete we hosted an Artist Talk at Paradigm Gallery, so the community could hear the stories behind the photographs.

AmberellaXO X South Street Fest

AMBERELLAXO X SOUTH ST FEST

As a part of its ongoing effort to enliven and bring art to the business corridor, South Street Headhouse District and HAHAxParadigm partnered with Philadelphia artist Amberella to create an over 100ft long wheat-pasted mural wrapping the NW corner of 2nd St and South St.  The simple messages of encouragement and love conjure a sentiment of hope both for the street and the community at large.
