Manicure/Pedicure: A Collaboration with rareCo

As part of rareCo's gallery initiative, we will be bringing found objects and home decor into Paradigm for a month-long show titled “manicure/pedicure”. By creating a lived-in ambiance, we hope to deepen the narrative that Hyland Mather has begun with the current Paradigm show, “Direction Instruction”, much the same way that the Basquiat print on your wall is informed by the dirty dishes in your sink, the broken wine glass on the floor, the dusty ceiling light that your landlord won't replace.

 
Much of the work is for sale, though our principle aim is to encourage active participation in home decor, as it relates to our instinct to construct identity through collecting.
