Alexis Nutini: Dos Pasos
January 14, 2027  – February 28, 2027

Alexis Nutini opens a two-floor exhibition at Paradigm Gallery + Studio, pairing a solo show with his collaborative artwork with Willie Cole, Sam Gilliam, El Anatsui, Didier William, and more. This exhibition will open in step with the Philadelphia Museum of Art's "El Anatsui: Prints and Play" exhibition, which also features Nutini's collaborative prints.

PUBLIC RECEPTION
Friday, February 5, 2027 • 5PM – 8PM

Paradigm Gallery + Studio presents Dos Pasos, a two-part exhibition featuring artwork by woodcut specialist and master printer Alexis Nutini. In this expansive showcase taking over both floors of the gallery, Nutini will be unveiling the newest iteration of his unique woodcut prints as well as displaying collaborations with some of the most significant artists of the present day, many of which were produced with Brandywine Workshop and Archives in the artist's Dos Tres Press printmaking studio.

Dos Pasos is a process-intensive collection that will display the intricate operations of carving and printing one-of-a-kind woodcuts, featuring works mounted on panel, framed prints, and painted woodblocks. Nutini develops his own visual language by layering color, pattern, and found objects while combining traditional and modern procedures like adding laser-cut and CNC-routed motifs with hand-printed woodcuts. Nutini's master printer work continues to be featured in major institution programming. This exhibition will be a homecoming that brings all of these celebrated projects together in one space.

Dos Pasos will be on view on both gallery floors at the Paradigm Arts Building (12 N. 3rd Street) from January 14 through February 28, 2027, with a public opening reception on Friday, February 5, 2027 from 5:00-8:00 pm.
